Our Elder Team

Our Elder Team is Responsible for:

• Living a life of servanthood to Jesus that is exemplary to the church body (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; Heb. 13:7; 1 Pet. 5:3)
• Guarding the doctrine and teachings of City of Joy  (Acts 20:29-32; 1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:9)
• Praying for the church body (Acts 6:3-4; James 5:14)
• Overseeing Missional Communities & shepherds to equip City of Joyers for ministry (Acts 20:28; Eph. 4:11-12, 1 Peter 5:1-3)
• Delegating ministry responsibilities to trustworthy workers via other teams.(Acts 6:1-7)
• Ensuring faithfulness to God in our mission, vision, and strategy
  

The Operations Team ensures that City of Joy functions well and above reproach in the areas of:

• Budgeting and finances
• Personnel and human resources
• Legal needs
• Facilities and propertyHR, stewardship, benevolence
  

THE STAFF TEAM SUPPORTIVELY FACILITATES ENSURING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MISSION AND VISION AS SET FORTH BY THE ELDERS.
